Yes! We love children and typically start seeing them once they’ve reached 3.5 years of age. How often should I come to the dentist?

To maintain optimal oral care right now and avoid dental complications down the road, come into our NYC office for regular cleanings and checkups every six months. Many dental problems do not have symptoms, and tooth decay typically does not start hurting until it has reached the nerve of the tooth. By scheduling regular appointments with us, we can spot cavities and other oral issues before they become bigger problems.

How important is flossing?

We get this question all the time, and we understand that flossing seems like an extra. But the truth is flossing significantly reduces the number of bacteria in your mouth in a way that brushing cannot. Flossing can reach areas that your toothbrush can’t get to. When that plaque hardens between your teeth, it turns into tartar which can only be removed by a dentist. We’d be happy to help you learn proper flossing techniques when you come in for a cleaning.
